.:Company Philosophy
Fitness Fuzion was founded in April of 2007, discovered through the passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle by two friends who have a desire to help others reach their full health potential! We aspire to assist those that are sick of following ridiculous diets and exercise programs and want something that you can have specialists design and also play and integral part in your own plan and essentially your life! We provide the needed strength to give you that push to get going and also train you so that you won't need to rely on anyone. We create life-style plans. Not the next phase of your life, or diet of the month or year. It's a plan you can enjoy and follow for life and learn how to feel confident in your own health and designing your own future plans if you like! Are you sick of being over weight, out of shape, having injury happen upon injury, decreased energy, that overall BLAHHHhhhh feeling?!?!

Based upon your own fitness level, past and present injuries, body shape, personal goals, and life style you'll get a customized training plan fit for YOU!

.:How are we different?
We are trained in detecting muscular imbalances that are within the body that the untrained eye cannot detect. The average training program is a cookie cutter plan. They will develop plans that will aggravate and make your own imbalance worse and increase your chances of getting injured. They don’t take the time to identify your past history of injuries or aches and pains and figure out a way to help get those under control before they throw you into an aggressive plan. Our plans begin with detecting those imbalances and working to bring them back to a stable state before we begin aggressively training the body. In doing so you will notice more flexibility, less aches and pain, increases in energy and over all well being.

.:How do we do this over the internet?
We will have you take a picture from the front, back, and both sides and send it to us. 

We will then look at bone structure and posture and detect your own individual muscular imbalances present within your body that can predispose you to injury. Our tailored programs will provide a strengthening component to your specific muscular weakness’ and a flexibility program to stretch the overly contracted muscles to create balance throughout the body. This will improve posture, decrease aches and pains, provide flexibility, increase strength, create bodily symmetry, decrease chance of injury, increase energy levels, decrease stress, provide symmetry throughout the body, and create a toned physique.

The plan can be as aggressive as you would like. If you want to take your time and try a more gradual paced plan we can create that, if you are the gung-ho wanting to attack yourself we can be aggressive as well.

.:The Athletic or Conditioned Individual
Programs can also be designed to go along with those who already have an avid weight training plan in place. We work with athletes and bodybuilders who get injured and can’t identify what is going on. We are not a Physician service or replacement and if it is serious we do recommend you seek a physician ASAP if it’s serious! We will take a look at your plan and a set of pictures that we will have you take and send to us and put together a plan of action to help get you back to optimum so you don’t have to take time off from the gym or the sport you are involved in!

.:The Tools
Meal Plans, Menus, Recipe ideas, Assessment tracking sheets, Complete Cardio Guide, Flexibility training, and a Printable Weight Plan to take with you to the gym. We are also easily accessible by text for support when you need it 7 days a week! This way you can contact us with any questions or concerns you may have when you are on the road and away from a computer. How many trainers are willing to be at your disposal like that?!?!

.:How we met
Tracy and Shannon met through an online fitness forum. Tracy was training and dieting down for her first competition in Michigan, July 17th, 2006 when they connected. They started PMing (Private Messaging) on June 9, 2006. Shannon decided to go to Tracy’s competition before she even knew her based off of other people they mutually knew that were attending. Two weeks after meeting, Shannon was discussing how she wanted to move out of Texas because she wanted a change, missed her extended family in Massachusetts, and she wasn’t happy with her job or life in general. Tracy had wanted a roommate for about a year to live in her house with her, but was too meticulous and didn’t want some strange person that she didn’t get along with living with her. Something possessed her and she asked Shannon to move to Michigan and live with her. Shannon’s initial reaction was laughing, and thought, ”Yeah o.k., sure!” Shannon had a gut instinct that she knew that’s what she would eventually end up doing. Over the next few weeks Tracy kept dropping comments about Shannon moving to live with her. Many odd circumstances happened about where people were going to stay for the competition, and oddly enough it ended up that Shannon stayed with Tracy when that was not even in the initial plan.

At the competition when they finally met they got along great. It took others’ to reinforce the idea of Shannon moving because she did not believe Tracy was serious when she asked her to come live with her. Shannon switched her plane ticket to stay another day in Michigan because they got along so well. When they had to say goodbye they both felt sad. They both knew they had found a friendship that was irreplaceable. Shannon had one weeks vacation left, her lease on her apartment was up in August, and Tracy was leaving for Hungary with another friend for a month and wouldn’t return till mid-September. Shannon decided to use her week’s vacation and return back to Michigan before Tracy left since she missed her, and to also reconfirm her inward decision of moving to Michigan. Both had a gut feeling that the move would come to fruition.

Shannon moved September 1st 2006 to Michigan. Tracy returned home September 18th, 2006 from Hungary.

As time has passed on they have grown closer and connected more realizing what a true friendship is. God has been in the forefront of their friendship. They realized they not only had the same passions in fitness, but also in helping others. Tracy had known since she was 16 that she would open a business one day. The idea to open a company together excited both of them. In addition, peers and co-workers consistently asked the two of them for advice on work-outs and meal planning. They decided to come up with a business that fused personal training, meal planning, massage therapy, and motivating and helping other’s to achieve a healthy lifestyle. That is how ‘Fitness Fuzion’ was created.

.:Biography

Tracy Popilek:
Life is a journey and it is what you make of it. You can either sit around watching your life float by or you can take it and make the most out of it. Personally I refuse to let people or circumstances break me down, but just look upon those as obstacles that I will get through. I love to challenge myself, and I find life boring without something to strive for. That's why I keep moving forward for each new goal I create and surpass; it helps to define who I am revealing my strengths as well as my weakness’. Right now I have 43 goals. Some big some small but none the less all will teach me a new found wisdom and lesson I do not know now about myself or life.

Some past goals that I think were big self definers are: Running three marathons, enlisting in the Air Force for 4.5 years’, Obtaining my bachelors degree in Business Management, going through massage school, training and competing in figure competitions, and losing my best friend my baby boy; Titus at 3 years’ old (Yes, he was a Boxer dog). There are many more but those were the toughest for me. Goals are hard to achieve because life does not stop, it keeps happening, adding what seems to be insurmountable stress, and almost breaks you down to nothing. In all of it you have to enjoy the ride, because if you just strive for the top before you know it, your life is over. "Live like you never lived before, love like you never loved before, and dance like you never danced before." I forget who said that paraphrased quote but you should. You have the paint brush what is your painting going to unveil about your life? 

My main hobby is weight training.

I am doing my 2nd figure competition on June 2nd same show here in Michigan I did last year "Melissa Frabbiele Classic". I'll be doing it with my roommate and my friend in Chicago. It should be a lot of fun. Plus I plan on maybe doing a few other's later this year.

Along with the show there is also the possibility of a photo shoot at the same time. For the past two years' I have wanted to get into fitness modeling. I did some modeling in High school, but fitness definitely seems to fit me ;) Two of my long-term goals are to do fitness modeling for magazines and to become a pro competitor.

I work as a Personal Trainer, Massage Therapist and Instructor. I recently quit my job as a Systems Engineer to finally pursue my passion. It has been in my head since I was 18 years old and finally I am able to make the full career change with the help of God and my best-friend Shannon. It is very exciting!!! I have been helping people for the past 9 years’ obtaining goals they never thought they could. I love showing people anything is possible with the right attitude, desire, and mind. I motivate those who think they can’t, help them to place their trust in me, and guide them to their own success. I really like working with people who need motivation, those who have tried endless methods to get healthy that have failed, people who have lost hope or have been torn down by other’s, athletes, and those who suffer from chronic pain patterns.  Success in my mind is not focusing on mishaps in life but just a progression to stay on a path despite the obstacles we hurdle around. Shannon and I don’t just create diets and exercise plans’ we create life style changes.
