Tracy has been my personal trainer for 4 months now and it has been a great experience.  I have not felt this great in a very long time.  The programs that she has put together for me has worked all the areas that I need.  She has been very supportive and changes my program up every 3-4 weeks so that I get to have a change and it challenges my body more each time.

I have had a few different type massages from Tracy, and I have also had massages from other massage therapists, by far she has been the best.  Each time I get a massage she is able to work out my kinks and relax me all at the same time.  She is very professional and has wonderful hands!  My only problem is that I am not able to have a massage every day!

I injured my left shoulder doing some close grip bench work. It was an immediate pain and forced me to stop the workout. I also had to stop doing overhead work and all other pressing. SO basically I was a back and legs guy for 2 months.

I found Tracy online and decided to give her a whirl. Took some pictures and sent them in. Almost instantly I was given a few 'tasks' to determine what my real problem was. After a few of these self-tests it was determined that my injury was not so bad that I couldn't start to rehab immediately.

Rather than a stretch, or a pill, or a massage, I was given an entire plan on how to rehab. It was progressive, meaning I could make linear progress and see when I would be able to lift seriously again. It took 3 weeks to rehab to the point I could bench press.

I am happy to say that I have stuck w/ the plan - my shoulder flexibility has improved tremendously. I was even able to hit a bench Personal Best about 2 weeks ago - or 3-4 months from injury.

All in all it was one of the best consultations I have ever received. These people know their stuff, and they get results... that is all that matters to me - results.

I sought out Tracy because I heard absolutely great things about her work in helping others rehabilitate their nagging injuries, and in developing quality, corrective and preventative workout routines. Her reputation was well deserved. Not only did she assist me in alleviating a chronic and debilitating pain in my left shoulder, but she diagnosed it as a problem stemming from my chest muscles (not my shoulder), and gave me some simple stretching techniques that have made all the difference in the world. Months later when I began to feel some odd pain in my lower back, Tracy’s techniques instantaneously alleviated the pain. I was a shocked, impressed, and above all extremely thankful client. There are people in gyms and in every day life who are limited by aches, pains and injuries. Tracy’s knowledge of the human body guaranteed that I don’t have to be one of those people, and I sincerely believe she could do the same for anybody.

Sincerely,

About 8 months ago, I found Tracy online. She was kind enough to provide me with some training advice which I am still using today.

My first issue is I have a shoulder which I had hurt playing hockey. The injury limits the types of workouts I could do as I could not work my shoulders or chest without severe discomfort in my left shoulder. Tracy suggested several different exercises starting with no weight and then gradually building up as it got stronger. Now my left shoulder is my stronger one and I don’t feel limited on my exercises.

My other issue was just to drop a few pounds. She mentioned a few things she was doing to cut weight which I tried along with a decent diet and I have dropped about 15 lbs the last 6 months and kept it off.

Tracy is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I only wish I lived closer to train with her in person.

If I had to describe in one word what Tracy and Shannon do....
It would have to be "Shine"
They make the perfect team because they are banks of knowledge and know exactly how to address the problem in a clear, concrete and concise manner.
Always have a great disposition when helping others!
Motivation is a great part of their success, if they see a problem...They see the solution!
They are both mentally strong and sweet as the recipes thay have!
In a nutshell..."you get more from them, than what you invest"
I think of them as I quote George Burns:
"I'd rather be a failure at something I enjoy than a success at something I hate."

I had chronic lower back pain for months. It was common place for me I had learned to live with the daily pain. It shouldn’t have to be like that but I was doing what I thought I had to do at the time. I paid a chiropractor for twice a week visits over the course of months for temporary relief. I had x-rays finally and came to find out I had developed lordsis.

Tracy noticed all my pains and complaints and showed me how my abs became the weak link and they needed to be strengthened to balance out my posterior chain strength. Also, the new stretches Tracy gave me I was able to completely reverse the lordsis and resume a full strength training routine again. My hip flexors, hamstrings, gluteus and really my entire upper leg muscles were overly tight and needed lots of stretching she showed me the proper stretches to help me fix it. I’d give her updates and she’d give me more insight and my neck/traps were also tight she helped me loose them up with proper stretches as well. She has been an invaluable resource. Thank you Tracy for all your help.

To Whom It May Concern:

I have the wonderful pleasure of working with Tracy and Shannon.  Not only are they extremely educated in their field; they are also passionate about what they do and the people they help, which to me, means a lot given my recent circumstances.  Last year I was getting ready for a bodybuilding competition when my lower back and buttocks began to hurt when I ran or lifted weights.  I was told by my doctors to not exercise any longer until they determined what was wrong.  Shannon was more than willing to set up a new diet plan catered to my specific needs Tracy was extremely helpful in regards to a stretching routine.

Through talking with Shannon and Tracy on the phone, via the internet and emails, my diet is now on track. The doctors are still working on finding out what is wrong with my back, however, without the aid of my stretching routine, I know I would not be able to walk today.

I am honored and privileged to have ascertained their friendship and services.

I am extremely ecstatic that they are willing to share, their passion to educate and facilitate anyone to attain their goals.

I highly recommend Shannon and Tracy to everyone.

Yours truly,

To Whom It May Concern:

I first started working with Tracy in the fall of 06. I have a fairly physical job, and I work out, for health reasons, and I was having some problems in my shoulders & forearms. Repetitive strain & impingement issues.

I had met Tracy on an internet health and fitness board. I had also been to a rehab specialist for the same issues & after a perfunctory examination he basically told me I’d have to modify my lifestyle to accommodate my conditions. After reading Tracy’s advice to others, on the open board, I decided to ask for her help.

I described to Tracy my work routine and health history. I also showed her my workout schedule, and I described my pains. When they appeared, how they felt, how long they lingered or took to heal, and what I did for rehab. Using this information, Tracy recommended a number of stretching techniques that have really reduced the rate of flare-ups. She also recommended some changes in workout techniques and some additional strengthening exercises that have eliminated my impingements in my shoulders.

I would not hesitate to go to her for any other muscular problems I may have.

In May of 2006 I made the decision to make some very important changes in my life.  One of these was that I no longer wanted to weigh almost 400 pounds, and have all the baggage that comes along with that in my life – not only the health problems, but the self-esteem problems.

In June of 2006 I started slowly, with just watching what I ate.  I made a deal with myself that I could have anything I wanted to eat, as long as I ONLY ate if I was actually hungry and stopped as soon as I no longer felt hungry.  From June to October of 2006 I lost about 50 pounds.  I noticed that I was starting to have more energy, felt better, my clothes were changing, getting more lose on me, and in a few cases becoming so big on me that I couldn’t wear them anymore.  The other thing was people were noticing.

In January 2007 Tracy and I were at a weekend workshop and I asked her to make some recommendations about things I could do to help me on my journey.  She made some suggestions and I started implementing them.  I hated them, but THEY WORKED!  And I was amazed at how simple they were once I started doing them – eating a sensible diet of protein, a carb and veggies at most meals, eating more frequently and on the clock, as opposed to just when I felt hungry.  Exercising, I’ve worked my way up to 3 miles a day, plus some work on the stability ball.  This has given me muscle tone, and increased my strength as well as giving me more endurance and energy.

Since January 2007 I have lost about 40 more pounds, for a total loss of over 100 pounds.  I am 89 pounds from my goal weight currently and it seems like 89 pounds is totally do-able.  I’ve gone from a size 38 to a size 22 – and I’m wearing “normal” jeans with no elastic and with pockets in the back!  I have more flexibility, more energy, more confidence, and more self-esteem.  My blood pressure is within normal ranges again.  Every day I find a new discovery about my body, some new muscle I can see, or bone.  I have a neck and cheekbones!  I have collar bones.  I can feel my ribs.

Although I’ve been the one doing the work, there are days that without Tracy I’d never do it.  Even the IDEA that she’ll know I haven’t done something is enough to get me motivated to get out there and do my stuff..  She is able to see the changes, because I can catalog the changes, but I don’t really see them.  She documents them and when I start to get discouraged she reminds me how far I’ve come and gets me motivated to keep going.  I would still have done this without Tracy, but it would have taken me MUCH, MUCH longer and I wouldn’t have been nearly as successful as I’ve been.  I can’t say I owe all of the new things I’m experiencing with my body to her, but I owe a lot of it to her.  And I’ll never be able to explain to her how much it means to me.  But I think she knows somehow.
